For more than 40 years Prestige Picture Framing Etcetera has provided our experience in quality custom framing to our customers at our shop in Victoria. We are very grateful to our clients for placing their art collection, photographic memories, and keepsakes in our care for framing, restoration and conservation. From time-to-time they let us know when they appreciate our work and our attention to the details, and we would like to share their thoughts with you here.
“Thank you so much for your time on the installation — we are so happy with it. This is a piece I acquired while living in the world of design in DC – I love the memories and you have brought them alive with the renewal. Thanks so much for that.”

“On behalf of all participants of ART CAPACITY, I would like to thank Prestige Picture Framing Etcetera for the donation of frames and mates they have offered us over the past years and continue to do so, so generously, every month. All these are well received and allow people diagnosed with mental illness to have an opportunity to enhance their art projects, frame them to exhibit in art shows in the community or simply keep them and share them with their family and friends. These art projects can be very empowering to our program participants. We want to let you know your contribution is invaluable to us and wish you all a Happy Holiday Season and a fulfilling 2018.”

“Xane, With our thanks, we are so grateful for your support of Visions 2017. We appreciate all you do for us each year! Your generosity and expertise ensures the beautiful artwork given by our donors is showcased at its best. Thank you for being so thoughtful.”
“Hi Everyone, Thanks for your help getting some of the donated artwork framed in readiness for the fundraiser on October 22nd. I thought that you might be interested in my son Peter’s blog that he wrote last winter — when he was taking a break from distilling Victoria Gin. He and his wife started their own NGO working with a village in Uganda quite a few years ago. As the blog shows the last project was building a school with the help of 20 volunteers from Victoria. We appreciate all the support the community, including Prestige, have given us.”
Cheers,
Valerie

“Hi Xane, I want to tell you how happy I am with the pictures. I really cannot tell you which would be a favorite as they are all so different, but they really are lovely. You and Raymond spent time with me and with the combined effort you really got it right. You have not heard the last of me as I have sent some more pictures back with Margaret and the next time I am down in Victoria I will be in. So thank you and see you in a few months.”

“Thanks again ever so much for the lovely framing and resizing. As you can see, it looks perfect now!”
“I would just like to thank you for the first class service we recently received from your shop. We had a photo of her husband framed for our elderly neighbour, now living in Somerset House. I just wish you had been there today when we hung it for her, she was beyond pleased, it was perfect. The staff member we dealt with was lovely, he was helpful and understanding and it is to my shame I didn’t get his name to thank him personally for the care he took on this very insignificant purchase in monetary terms, but large in emotional regard. Anyway, just wanted you to know the joy your work brought to one soul today, again our thanks!”

“Here is the fruits of our labour (at the presentation in Vancouver on Wednesday morning). Many thanks again for the caring and attention that you took in making this all come together on time and with high quality. My client, the Barkerville Heritage Trust, is delighted, and I have let them know that Prestige deserves a great deal of credit.”
“Considering the majority of people in attendance [at our event] were families and friends of our youth, and not art connoisseurs, it was pretty successful. Two of the pieces you framed went for $200 and $275, which is a lot for us. We will be featuring you in our Achievements Report next year. Thanks again for your amazing support!!!”

“Your enthusiasm touches me. Many thanks – I will be in tomorrow to pick up [the framed prints]. Who knows what you may have started in me – I may throw aside all decorum and appropriateness and burst forth in full playful colour.”
“Hi Xane and Partners, Margaret made it to Quadra Island with the pictures and they look great – in fact they look wonderful and the Still Life with the lighter frame is so sweet it is now in the ‘place of honour’. Funny how it is always a surprise when it’s a different picture then expected that steals the show. The other picture that deserves mention is ‘Oh Happy Day’. They are all hung and they are all full of memories, beautifully framed and Margaret and I think our mom would be pleased. So thank you all so very much. And the attention to the writing that you photographed and placed on the back of the pictures is very much appreciated. Have a good summer and we will be back in the fall with one or two leftovers!”

“I have been searching for a way of framing small to medium sized wall quilts in a manner that would allow not only the front, but also the back of the quilt to be open for viewing so that labels and embellishments can be seen. Working with Prestige Picture Framing Etcetera on Oak Bay Avenue, I now have a solution that meets this objective.”
