Custom framed by Prestige Picture Framing Etcetera
This large-scale, moderately textured painting is made “free-hand”, meaning no sketching or tracing is involved. Mazzoni, celebrated for his modern monochromatic landscapes, creates layers to give his paintings depth and contrast, employing a deft mix of titanium, soft white and ivory. The palette and texture conjure a moody, majestic representation of this renowned destination at Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park.
Featured with Mazzoni’s painting is the Paula Callahan painting, “Forty-Seven Degrees North”, also custom framed by Prestige Picture Framing Etcetera, and the figurative sculpture by artist Anne-Sophie Falconer entitled “Décomposition 5”. Cedar plinth by Paul Owen Woodworks.
